Family Time

Saturday morning bright and early we got up and drove to College Station for our nephew's 3rd Birthday Party. It was at my parents house on their wonderful screened in patio and the temperature was perfect for the party. Jackson had a great time playing with all his cousins and we really enjoyed the Birthday Party and family time!

Later that afternoon, once the Birthday Party festivities were over, we headed to Brenham to visit with Adam's family and watch the Aggie Football Game. The Aggie game was very frustrating to watch but in the end we finally manged to pull off a win. I'm both excited and scared for this Saturday when we play Louisiana Tech. It's an away game. We are ranked 22 and they are ranked 23 so it should be a good match up. We had a good time in Brenham hanging out with family and as always our visit home was way too short!

This is GG aka Great Granny Jackson's cow from Nanny & Pop we didn't have time to meet her this time but next time Jackson is going to meet her.

The drive home from Brenham was a little rough it ended with Adam & I singing and dancing to songs like "The Wheels on the Bus" trying desperately to keep Jackson from screaming AND coming extremely close to running out of gas. Jackson has decided that napping on long trips is for babies and he only naps for very short time periods if any. Needless to say it was a very interesting drive home, and when we finally made it we were all very happy!

Trigger thought he needed to sit in my lap on the drive home, not sure what that is about and will not become a habit!

This weekend Adam & I have nothing planned, I don't remember the last time that happen. I am sure we can find plenty of things to occupy our time! Today I'll leave you with a picture of our cute little man bundled up for a cold day at Stroller Strides...
