We had a very fun weekend spending time with all the Glaze's. Josh, Heather, Katy, & Travis all arrived at our house on Wednesday night. Josh had to go to a meeting in Dallas Thursday & Friday. Heather, Katy, Travis, & I spend Thursday & Friday hanging out around the house and Uncle Adam would come home after work and spend time with us.

We filled up the swimming pool for Katy on Thursday and she had such a blast swimming around in the pool and getting Auntie soaking wet!! Even Travis got in the pool on the big float and he really loved floating around, I think he stayed in the pool for over an hour one day.

Uncle Adam taught Katy how to play Wii Mario Kart but she only wanted to watch or put the car in the water, she thought that was pretty funny. Even Heather & Josh played the Wii and I think everyone had a lot of fun playing and Travis liked to laugh at us while we played.

Katy really enjoyed watching cartoons on our TV and playing games on our computer. She doesn't watch TV at home so she found it to be so fascinating! We love having Katy around she is so funny and is always entertaining us!!

We had such a wonderful visit and loved getting lots of time with all the Glaze's. Travis is getting so big and he loves to laugh and smile at us, I think he really loves his Uncle Adam because he would laugh and smile the most when he was holding him.

They plan on coming to visit us again sometime in the fall so we can go to zoo when it's not 102 outside and Travis will be a little bit older and can enjoy it more. We were sad to see them go and now it's soooo quiet in our house we don't know what to do with ourselves!!

It's a short week for us, we will be heading to Bryson's Lake House on Thursday night for the big BK 4th of July bash!! It should be lots of fun!! Hope everyone has a wonderful week!!

Happy Father's Day to all the wonderful Father's in our life!!! We hope you all had a very wonderful day!!

Adam & I had a really great weekend! We started it off at the stockyards eating at H3, a really yummy steakhouse with Blake, Emily, Mike, & Katie. After dinner we headed over to the Love Shack and listened to some live music. The Love Shack is a cool little bar with live music every night and it's kind of outside, it's hard to explain but really cool. After that we headed to Pearl's Dancehall for some two-stepping fun. Pearl's is always an interesting time, we are always the youngest people in there by far and Blake asked just about every women in the bar to dance. It's so funny to watch Blake dance with all these ladies and you just know it makes their night!!

The next day Blake, Emily, Adam & I headed to Grapevine to visit some wineries. We had a lot of fun visiting all the wineries and it felt like we were on a mini vacation. The pictures are from the La Buena Vida Vineyards. Apparently we weren't suppose to be able to go out back where the vineyards are but Blake and Adam sweet talked some lady and she allowed us to go out there secretly. It was kind of disappointing because we wanted to go to a "real" winery where they grew lots of grapes and I wanted to get a chance to smash the grapes but that was no where to be found. There was one that we thought might be the "real" thing but it closed at 5:00 and we didn't make it in time. It was still a really good time and I want to go back and vist the Delaney Vineyards because I believe that is the real winery where they actually make all the wine there.

Adam must of liked the wineries so much that he is following in his Pop's footsteps and is attempting to make his own wine. I will let you know how that turns out.

We have Heather, Josh, Katy, and Travis coming to visit us on Wednesday and stay through the weekend. We are excited to get some time with them and this will be Josh and Travis first visit to our house. Hope everyone has a great week!!

We had a really wonderful weekend, Mike, Michelle, Blake, and Lindsey all came to see us! We had the fish fry for Katie's Birthday and everyone came over to join in the festivities. It was very very hot almost unbearable, even though I've lived in Texas a long time I still have a hard time getting use to this heat every summer. That's why Blake got out the kiddie pool so we could put our feet in and cool off. At the request of my sister I put up pictures of the kiddie pool but I will get better ones next time we actually get it out to swim in. Blake will kill me for the pictures I put up of him, he has already threaten to crash my blog if I continue to put up pictures of him but that won't stop me!! Katie got Guitar Hero for her B-day and they brought it over it was a lot of fun but I'm not very good. We had lots of fish, shrimp, french fries, and sweet potatoes fries and it was all very yummy! It was so wonderful to have some old friends and new friends all come together we really had a wonderful weekend with everyone!!

Not sure of our plans this weekend but we have a few options and we just haven't decided which one we are going to go with. Hope everyone is having a wonderful week!!

What a Storm

What a crazy storm we had last night!! According to the news we had around 75 mph winds and from the looks of our neighborhood you can tell. We were very very blessed and have no problems with our house. The storm came on very suddenly and very strong and soon Adam had me in a hard hat and safety glasses sitting in the tub in our bathroom. My silly hubby is very protective over me but I love that about him!! You could really hear the wind and it was pretty scary!! After the storm was over we came out to check out what had happened in our neighborhood and saw our poor neighbors tree and also their fence up against the neighbors house and their gutter broken. Adam went on a bike ride to check out the rest of the neighborhood and found many fences down and some of our neighbors were missing their backyard furniture. We feel so bad for our neighbors and Adam has already offered to help some of our neighbors with getting their fence back up. Although the craziest of the storms has passed I have been woken up all night by the storms and they are still going on right now. I guess the rain is good!

That's been the excitement for our week! Fish Fry happening this weekend and Mike and Michelle are coming to see us too, so we should have a very fun weekend!! Hope everyone has a great week!

We had a really awesome weekend of fishing and fun at the Boss's Lake House. We are so lucky that Adam has such a wonderful Boss who lets us use his lake house whenever we like!! We headed to the lake on Saturday morning to enjoy a nice weekend of fishing and swimming and it was such a blast!! The girls headed over to hang out with Bryson and his very nice pool and the boys spent some time on the jet skis and fishing. We also all went out on the boat and were trolling and we caught stripper and hybrid bass. The BIG fish was amazing Mike caught that while we were trolling today before we left the lake. It was 8.5 pounds and about 26 inches long, the biggest fish I've ever seen caught before!! It was such a great weekend and I just love being out on the lake it's so peaceful! Bryson is having a 4th of July party at his house so we will be back at the lake house for that!

We plan on having a fish fry next weekend with all the fish we caught and celebrating Katie's birthday. It should be a lot of fun, always great when we all get together!

Also, my sister-in-law Allison is having a boy!! So excited for Ben and Allison and I can't wait to meet the little guy, she is due in October. We are such a growing family right now and Adam & I love to spoil our niece and nephew!!

We have been very very busy these last few weekends and it doesn't look like things are slowing down anytime soon. Sorry it's been such a long time since I have posted anything!

Memorial Day weekend was a lot of fun for Adam & I!! We grilled every night and hung out with Katie & Mike. The weekend before Adam made bean bag toss boards and we got lots of use out of them Memorial Day weekend. We also decided it was time to finally refinish our outside table and chairs. It was hard work and we still have to finish the table but they look so much better!!

This last weekend we went to Glen Rose with the Cox family for a camp out. Adam got to meet his nephew Travis for the first time and they got along great he already thinks his Uncle Adam is pretty funny and nice to sleep on! We went to the state park to see the dinosaur footprints. We also swam in the pool and the rivers and had lots of fun trying to teach Katy how to swim. She is doing pretty good and I think she will have it down very soon. Overall it was a very fun weekend and nice to spend time with the family.

When Adam & I got home we decided to go buy a kiddie pool so we could relax in our backyard in the pool. So we spent the rest of the day in our pool and grilling out hamburgers. I think we have many more fun times to come in our new kiddie pool!!
