Hmmmmm where should I even begin after my month long hiatus from blogging, let's start with why I've been MIA lately. Poor Jack has been through the ringer with sickness, it started with what the doctor thought was RSV and we had to do breathing treatments for a week. We thought he was on the mend but then we had a weekend of him waking up with a very high fever and that turned out to be an ear infection after a week of antibiotics for that I think maybe, hopefully we can be well for a while. It also doesn't help that Jackson is currently getting three molars at once!!! Poor guy I just hate it when he doesn't feel good!
Alright enough of the bad stuff even though we've all been sick on and off for a month we've had plenty of happy things going on in our life too! The most exciting thing, Tate Edward finally made his way into this world on February 13, 2013!! He had a bit of a rough stay at the hospital but he is happy and healthy now and at home with his wonderful parents. Congratulations Blake and Emily you are already wonderful parents to that little guy! Here are some pictures of the cutie...

We've stayed really busy lately, we took Jackson to his first zoo trip on a cold Saturday morning. He seemed to enjoy it but this was also when he got the ear infection, wish we knew that before we were at the zoo and that is when he started going down hill. I look forward to taking Jackson to the zoo again. We are actually going to run a 5K at the zoo in April and I have a Mud Run coming up at the end of March, I better start running again! Adam's parents came in town when Tate was born and we were lucky enough to get a Valentine's date out of that!! We also enjoyed the visit and I think they enjoyed all the time they got to spend with Jackson! They were back up here again this past weekend along with the rest of the family for Amanda and Jace's Wedding. The Wedding was in Dallas so everyone stayed in a hotel over there Saturday night, It was a lot of fun!!
