Celebrating 26 Years of a Wonderful Man!!

As usually things have been very busy around the Hueske Household. We started off with a weekend in Bowie and perfect weather for sitting around the fire at night. The next weekend Emily & I headed off to Dallas for Halloween while the boys headed to Bowie. Emily & I had a lot of fun we stayed with a co-worker, Desmond and we dressed up as 80's girls. I think we did pretty good with our costumes crimped hair and all. Adam & I stayed at home on Sunday night to hand out candy to Trick or Treaters and almost ran out of candy we had so many!

My sister, Heather and our niece, Katy and nephew, Travis came to stay with us for a week while their Daddy was hunting in Colorado. We had a lot of fun with them that week and even made a trip to Chuck E. Cheese's which was a lot of fun playing games and Katy got quite a few prizes from all the tickets we won.

Watching Baseball, Travis loved to watch Baseball!

Adam & I carved Pumpkins and I think they turned out pretty good! Adam's was the scary Pumpkin and mine was the nice Pumpkin. I always love this time of year as the weather starts to change and the Holidays start to begin, it's my favorite time of year.

They say the best way to a man's heart is through his stomach well if that is the case I have won my man's heart. Yesterday I decided it was going to be Adam's Birthday Day with Melissa so I came up with a few surprises through out the day. It started with Rosa's for lunch because Adam loves Mexican food and Rosa's but to go along with it I made him homemade salsa and guacamole. Then I made Adam cookies because that is his absolute favorite and every year when I ask him what desert he wants it's always cookies. Then we had jambalaya for dinner and I finished the night off with yummy chocolate melting inside cake (not the official name but best way to describe it) with a candle in one and a Birthday song from me.

 The yummy cake!

Today is my wonderful Husband's actually Birthday and we will be celebrating at BJ's Brewhouse with a couple friends for dinner. I have managed to save one gift for him to actually open on his birthday (I already gave him his big gift) so we will open that gift after dinner. I'm so happy to be his wife and he makes me so happy so I hope I can make this the most wonderful Birthday ever!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ADAM!!! YOU ARE THE MOST WONDERFUL MAN IN THE WORLD!!!

Galveston Labor Day Trip

Adam really wanted me to include a few pictures of our trip to Galveston Labor Day Weekend. Adam, Blake, Emily and I left on Friday morning to head down to Galveston and Mike and Michelle came down on Saturday and stayed the night. The girls went to The Strand to meet up with with Royce and Joe (Royce is my DOI co-worker and he has a house in Galveston) while the boys went out on a fishing adventure. Here are some pictures of their adventure...

We didn't come to Galveston with a boat but as soon as we got to Galveston Adam & Blake decided they needed a boat so the boys starting searching Craigslist for a cheap boat and they found one and that's how we ended up with a boat in Galveston. Silly boys they just can't help themselves once they had their minds set on getting a boat there was not turning back. We had a lot of fun that weekend and the boys can't wait to go back and go on more fishing adventures in their new boat. We are planning to go back Thanksgiving weekend, we went last year and now it's turned into an annual trip.

Well I hope you're proud of me two post in two days is pretty good!

We're Back...I Hope

I'm sorry for the very long break from updating between working and going on a million trips any free time we have we tend to spend relaxing. I'm going to try very hard to start updating on a regular basis but I can't make any guarantees. Besides blogging to keep our family and friends updated on our life I also want to make a book for every year of our lives so we can look back on it and remember all the wonderful stories we have created together. So with all that said I will try to show you in pictures what has been going on in our lives over the last several months.

I threw a Bachelorette Party for my best friend Pamela the weekend before she got married
Adam & I attended a Birthday Party for my parent's dog Ace

My best friend Pamela got married on June 5 and I was her maid of honor

Adam & I at Pamela and Nate's Wedding

Adam's Parents and Grandparents came to visit us and see our new house, we had such a wonderful weekend with them, it was the first time for Nanny and Pop to come to Fort Worth to visit us and Adam cooked us a wonderful meal on the grill.

Brenden our nephew turned one last weekend and we attended his Birthday Party on my parent's wonderful brand new screened in patio.

He was a very excited Birthday boy and I think he loved all his presents!

Adam & I cooked a special breakfast for our 5 year Anniversary (not wedding and no we don't usually celebrate this but we decided since it was 5 years we would do something special) I got these awesome pancake and egg molds and we made animal and heart shaped pancakes.

The Beautiful Bride and Groom on their wedding day, Adam & I were so happy to be there on their wedding day and we had such a fun time at their wedding. We love Blake and Emily so much and we are so glad that Blake finally made Emily a Hueske!!

Emily & Blake got married in Connecticut and Adam was the Best Man
My very handsome husband making a very wonderful speech at Emily & Blake's Wedding

Adam, Blake, Emily and I went to Galveston for Labor Day Weekend and Emily and I caught this awesome Red Fish.

I helped plan a Bachelorette Party for Emily in Dallas, this is all the Hueske women

So that is the last several months in review and yes they are not totally in order but you get the idea of what we've been doing and how busy our life has been. One big thing not pictured is our new 2010 Tahoe,  Adam & I finally made the leap and bought a new car and we absolutely love it!!

We enjoyed all our fun trips and fun times with friends and family but we are looking forward to things slowing down a bit so we can finally get some projects done around the house. Although I know things won't slow down for long since the holidays are about to begin. I hope everyone has a wonderful week and hopefully I will be back again soon to update you on the Hueske Happenings!

Home Sweet Home...Almost

Sorry it's been so long since I posted anything but we have been super busy around the new Hueske household! We are finally all moved in and no longer have the Kentish house. It only took a weekend to get most of our stuff here but it took a lot longer to try to get it all organized. The Garage is still a mess but inside the house is looking pretty good! Of course all this did not come with out problems...Last weekend I was decorating the kitchen and I dropped a sign on the stove and broke our glass top, after a lot of research we discovered it was just a little more expensive to get a new stove, so now we have a brand new stove, a bit of an unexpected problem but it all worked out in the end. Besides that we are loving our new house and our new stove. Here are a few picture of our new house...

We've received some wonderful house warming gifts! We got home depot cards from both our parents, which we can't wait to go use and an awesome smoker from Nanny and Pop. Here is a picture of our new smoker on our awesome deck.

I also went to College Station to throw a shower for my best friend Pamela, who is getting married June 5. The shower went really well and I think it turned out perfect for her. Now I'm preparing to plan her bachelorette party and getting ready for the big day! I'm so excited for Nate and Pamela and I can't wait to be apart of their big day!

Right now we have a very small house guest for the week. My sister, brother-in-law, and our little niece Katy are going to Disney World this week and my parents are meeting them there in their camper. So they flew out today from Love Field and we are keeping their dog Rowdy for the week. He is a pretty cute little guy and very low maintenance, all he really does is sleep and play with his ball.

Apparently our house guest thinks the best seat is our dirty laundry

We also had the Annual Barnett Shale Crawfish Boil a few weekends ago, which is always a lot of fun! This year I was in charge of getting a work group together to make 1500 jello shots (we bring jello shots every year to hand out), it turned out really well and we knocked all 1500 out in about an hour and a half.

These are the kind of things we do at BK, don't you wish you worked with us!

Things are going great for Adam & I we are both keeping busy with work and I'm stilling loving my job! We have a lot of stuff coming up  so we are going to be pretty busy for a while. Here are some of the things we have coming up, Heather, Josh and Katy come back next weekend and take our little house guest home, Abi comes to visit the next weekend, Pamela's bachelorette party, Pamela & Nate's Wedding, 4th of July party with BK, and Blake and Emily get married in October and I'm sure there will be many other things in between I can't think of right now.

Hope everyone has a wonderful rest of the weekend! Happy Mother's day to all the wonderful Mother's in our life!!

Buying Our First Home!

I know it's been a very long time since I last posted anything but we have been very busy over the past month. Adam & I finally decided to take the leap and buy our first home and we couldn't be more excited!! We are set to close on April 16 and hopefully everything will go smoothly and that will happen. Here are some pictures of our new home.

The New House on Moccasin Lane

Actually I don't have a lot of great pictures of our new house so just the one of the front of our house will have to do for now. I promise once we get the house I will take more pictures and put them up. We are super excited about the purchase of our new home and can't wait for everything to be finalized and be in the home.

Last weekend we went home for our niece and nephew's birthday party. Katy was turning 4 (which I can't believe she can actually be that old) and Travis was turning 1. It was fun celebrating their birthdays and spending time with our families. We also got a chance to go to Brenham and have an early Easter dinner with the Hueske family. Here are some pictures from the birthday party.

I think Travis liked his present from Uncle Adam & Auntie Melissa too!
Adam and I are very excited because tomorrow we leave for Bryson's Lake house for Easter weekend! Blake, Emily, Michael, maybe Katie, Josh, and Lindsey are all coming to the lake house and we are going to have a big Easter dinner on Saturday. We can't wait to have a long weekend at the lake house fishing and relaxing. Adam gave me my birthday present early so that I can use it this weekend and guess what it is....it's a really awesome camera!! I can't wait to use it and take some awesome pictures and also it will give me motivation to take pictures!!
I'll leave you with some wonderful ice skating pictures I meant to post a long time ago from when Adam, Blake, Emily and I went ice skating. It was fun and no one had any major accidents.
