Three WONDERFUL Months

Today Jackson is three months old and time is really flying by, I can't believe it's been three months since he made his entrance into this world and changed our lives forever. A lot has changed since he was born and just over the past month, Jackson is starting to get a wonderful little personality. He gives out a lot of smiles these days and each time he gives me one is just as special as the last. He is a morning person, unlike his Mommy, he must have gotten that from Daddy. He is the happiest in the morning and gives out the most smiles, seeing those smiles is enough to make Mommy a morning person and he warms my heart each morning and I couldn't imagine starting my day off any other way. He does a lot of babbling these days and a little laughing. He can roll over from his tummy to his back and if you put things into his hand he can hold onto them. He is getting better at sleeping in his crib, he just started taking all his naps in there and he sleeps in there till about 2 in the morning and then we transition him into our room until his 4:30-5:30 feeding and then he usually wakes up for the day between 7-8. He is starting to get a pretty predictable schedule which I am enjoying because it's much easier to plan the day when I know what to expect and I know what he is wanting. He is an amazing little guy and his Daddy and I could not love him more! Here is his three month pictures with his likes and dislikes...

We have had some fun adventures over the past week, I didn't get a lot of pictures but I will share the few that I did get. Last Sunday we went to the Lone Star Park for Family Fun day and they had Camel and Ostrich races, they also had the Horses. It was very entertaining, I don't think you could pay me enough to get on one of those Ostriches they were crazy, I felt bad for the Jockeys that had to ride them. Overall we had a good time and made a couple bets on the horse races and came out even for the day. Here is the one picture Blake took when he was introducing Jackson to the horses...

Jackson & Uncle Blake checking out the horses, Uncle Blake is very cute with Jackson he took him all around to meet people at the race

Last Friday was also my 28th Birthday and Uncle Blake & Aunt Emily took care of Jackson while Adam took me on a sushi date. We had a lot of fun on our date and it was nice to get a little time just the two of us!! My boys made my birthday extra special, they made me breakfast in bed and gave me flowers with a balloon and Jackson even gave me a gift card for a manicure and pedicure (I think his Daddy must have given them the idea)! The most special present of all was having my boys to celebrate the day with!! Again we are bad at taking pictures but here is one from the night when we picked up Jackson after our date...

Blowing out my candles, Adam got some yummy cupcakes for my birthday

Adam & I after our Birthday date

Yesterday we headed downtown for the art festival we go to every year, it's always fun to walk around and look at the art and eat some of the yummy food they have there each year. Here are the picture from that...

Jackson's first adventure downtown, I think he had a good time!

The whole family at the art festival

Because I know you all enjoy pictures of Jackson so much I will add a few more of our favorites over the past week...

We made a trip to the office to surprise Daddy and he got to hang out with Mike

He also got to hang out with Uncle Blake while we were there and meet the big man Bryson but I didn't get a picture of that

He tried on his sunglasses, they are a little big but they almost fit

He made some very funny faces!

Napping in his crib while I type this, if you look close you can tell he has broken out of his swaddle we are working on not swaddling him for sleeping but a lot of the times it's the only thing that will help get him to sleep

This is how I found Trigger this morning while I was typing this, he acts like he gets no sleep these days when really he is the one who gets the most, our dog is pitiful in the middle of the night when we feed Jackson he makes these moans like we are really disturbing him

This is a video showing off Jackson's skills and talking

I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!

Jackson has been having a lot of fun going to new places and meeting new people over the past month! After my last blog post Aunt Abi and Uncle David came to visit us St. Patrick Day Weekend and here are some pictures form the visit...

The next weekend we took Jackson home to College Station for his cousins Katy and Travis 6th and 3rd Birthday Party. Mommy and Daddy weren't very good at taking pictures but I do have one of my parents with all their grandkids at the Birthday party...

The next morning I woke up excited and hung out with Papa Joe for a while, he is a lot of fun!

I met a lot of other Hueskes that weekend but we didn't get a picture with all of them but we will make a lot more visits home so I am sure we will get some one day! On our way out of town we stopped and took a picture in the bluebonnets...

here we are as a family in the bluebonnets

I slept through the whole photo shoot I was pretty tired from meeting so many people

The next weekend my Cousin Walker came to visit and meet me for the first time...

Walker & Jackson meeting for the first time

We had a lot of fun while Walker, Josh and Lindsey were in town the boys went to work on the boat and the girls with Jackson and Walker had lunch a Joe T Garcia's.We can't wait to see them again and I think Jackson and Walker are going to be pretty good buds as they get older.

Next it was Easter weekend and we headed to Galveston Thursday afternoon, it was a very very long drive but we had a lot of fun being with the family and in Galveston for Easter. Here are some pictures from the weekend...

Mom put me in my Easter Basket I didn't really like that very much

Uncle Blake put me on a beach towel to look at the sky, he said I liked that

Mom & Dad were there they had fun

I got two Easter Baskets because I am super special

We did go to the beach once but there was a lot of seaweed so it really wasn't a very good beach day and we didn't get any pictures but next time we will put his feet in the sand and water and get some good pictures!!

So that is what we have been up to the past month very very busy but having a lot of fun!! This Friday is my Birthday so Adam & I are going out on a date and Uncle Blake and Aunt Emily are taking care of Jackson!

Hope everyone had a great Easter!!
