Adam dancing!

My Elliptical

Sorry to our readers for not having posted anything in a long time but I will try to catch you up with all the Hueske Happenings in this post.

Blake and Emily got engaged while visiting Emily's family in California!! Adam and I are so excited for them and we can't wait to have Emily become a Hueske! It's always very entertaining when Blake and Adam get together so I'm glad I will always have Emily there. Can't wait to celebrate with them on their big day!!

Adam, Blake, & Mike went garage sale shopping while Abi, Emily, & I went and got manicures and pedicures. Adam found me a prize while garage sale shopping and it was an elliptical!!! I was so excited he got it for only $50 and it's a $2,000 elliptical, he had to fix the buttons but he did that and now it works great! I've told you before it is so wonderful having a husband that can fix just about anything, he is so wonderful and I'm the luckiest girl in the world to have found him!! I try to do 30-45 minutes a day and I've been pretty good at keeping with it so I thik it was definatly a good buy!!

Abi came to visit us a couple weekends ago and we really enjoyed having her here. We had a BBQ on the Saturday she was here and had Emily, Blake, Mike, and Katie over. It was a lot of fun and after everyone left and it was just the three of us the dance party began. Mike brought over a Michael Jackson CD he made and left it here I turned it back on and we all started dancing. Adam's picture is definatly the BEST picture ever!!

We also had a wonderful 4th of July at the boss's lake house!! Bryson invited everyone out to his lake house for the BK 4th of July party and it was a good time as always. We went out on Thursday night after work and stayed through Sunday. Bryson had a big firework show for us and we watched it from the pool looking out at the lake, by far the best way to see fireworks!!

We also went to San Marcos to float the river with Mike, Michelle, Blake, & Lindsey. Blake's parents live there so we got to stay at his parents house. We floated the San Marcos river and it had plenty of water and was a really good float, about 4 1/2 hours. That was a lot of fun and it's always great to get the old college crew back together plus some really great new additions.

This past weekend Blake & Emily had a cajun night dinner. Emily cooked seafood gumbo and crab stuffed mushrooms and it was all very delicous!

So as you can tell the month of July has been a very very busy month for us but I guess that is just how summer goes. We have a lot of very exciting trips coming up!! Next weekend my Mom & Dad come to see us for just Friday night but we will be happy to see them, we are just one stop on their 2 week vacation. August 17 we depart on a cruise to Mexico, we are going for Abi's 21st birthday with Adam's family. September 4 we leave for Mike and Katie's wedding in Michigan. So stay tuned because it doesn't look like our life will calm down anytime soon but I don't think we would like it any other way!!

Hope everyone has a wonderful week!!!
