Summer Vacay- Galveston with Family

This 4th of July Adam & I decided it would be fun to head to Galveston with the Hueske Family. It was the first time we went with Nanny and Pop and Adam's Parents aka Grammy and Pawpaw. We knew it would be a long drive for Jackson but we broke it up by stopping by my parents house in College Station and having dinner. It was well worth the long drive and we had a blast hanging out around Galveston with family. Jackson got a chance to spend some wonderful quality time with his grandparents and great grandparents and by the time it was time to go home he had formed even stronger relationships with each one of them. I'm so glad we decided to go and it was such a wonderful family vacation, we are already ready to go back!! This time I took lots and lots of pictures so I will let them tell the story of our vacation...

We got in late Wednesday night but Jackson slept in Thursday morning and woke up in his red, white and blue ready to celebrate the 4th!

He wanted to start off his vacation with fishing

Checking out the beach with Dad, he was a little unsure about it at first but he warmed up to it

Mom, I don't know about this sand stuff

Helping Dad build his sand castle

Sitting with Mom in the water

Grammy and Jackson at the beach

Our little family at the beach

swinging with Grammy

Headed out on the boat to do some fishing

Pawpaw caught a fish!

Jackson wanted to drive the boat

Putting his feet up drinking his smoothie

This little boy was obsessed with drinking out of a water bottle

enjoying the view

Gotta have bath time after such fun days of playing

getting ready for the parade, go #28

Jack showing Pop and Pawpaw the playground

Using Pawpaw's hat for shade while swinging

Adam got a little hot while waiting for the parade to start

Jackson had a blast being in the parade he was waving to everyone as we drove by

more fun at the beach, Jackson wanted to steal everyone's chair

admiring Dad's sandcastle, Dad had a lot of fun playing in the sand

The best way to get home from the beach, waving and saying bye bye the whole way out

Picking out an ice cream with Pop

yummy, thanks Pop!

Adam's fish he caught on the Father and Son morning fishing trip

This kid was exhausted by the time it was time to leave!

We had some wonderful days full of sun and fun, thanks Nan and Pop for letting us enjoy your wonderful house!!
